Privacy policy
Who we are
Revitt Ltd (company number 13210870) operates maixhq.com and makes Maix. When we say “we” or “us” in this policy, we mean Revitt Ltd. For privacy questions, use the contact details in the Revitt privacy policy.
What we collect
- What you give us: your name, work email, company, company size, the plan you are interested in and anything you tell us you would hand Maix first, when you register your interest.
- How you found us: if you arrive through a link with campaign tags (such as utm_source) or an advert click id (Google’s gclid, Microsoft’s msclkid, LinkedIn’s li_fat_id, Reddit’s rdt_cid), your browser keeps them, with the referring site and the first page you landed on, in session storage for that visit. They are sent to us only if you register, so we know which campaign brought you. Session storage is cleared when you close the tab.
- Limited technical data: our host keeps standard request logs, and we briefly process a hashed version of your IP address to rate-limit the form and prevent spam.
How we use it
- To tell you when Maix launches and set up your early access
- To reply to what you asked about
- To keep the form secure and free from abuse
- To see which pages, campaigns and adverts bring registrations and, if you accept cookies, to measure and target our advertising
Legal basis
Under UK GDPR we rely on your consent when you register and when you accept optional cookies, and on our legitimate interest in replying to business enquiries, keeping the form secure and improving the site.
Cookies and measurement
Optional cookies only run after you accept them in the cookie notice. If you decline, none are set. You can change your choice at any time with Cookie settings in the footer.
- Strictly necessary: your cookie choice is remembered in your browser’s local storage.
- Vercel Web Analytics and Speed Insights: where enabled, our host counts page views, key actions such as a registration, and page speed without setting tracking cookies.
- Google Analytics (optional): to understand how the site is used.
- Google Ads (optional): to measure which adverts lead to a registration and to show our adverts to people who have visited. If you have accepted and then register, your email address is hashed in your browser before it is sent to Google to match the registration to an advert click. Before you accept, Google receives only cookieless, anonymous signals under Google Consent Mode.
- LinkedIn Insight Tag, Reddit Pixel and Microsoft Advertising UET (optional): to measure our advertising on those platforms and show our adverts to people who have visited. None loads until you accept.
Google, LinkedIn, Reddit and Microsoft process this data under their own privacy policies. Our other sites use the same Google Analytics account under the same rules, so if you accept on more than one of them, visits can be linked across them.
Who we share it with
- Vercel: hosting, Web Analytics and Speed Insights
- Google Chat or our email provider: telling our team you registered
- Google, LinkedIn, Reddit and Microsoft: measurement and advertising, only after you accept cookies
How long we keep it
We keep registrations for as long as we are in touch about Maix, plus a reasonable period afterwards. Google Analytics keeps usage data for at most 14 months. Advertising platforms keep data under their own policies.
Your rights
You can ask to see, correct or delete the data we hold about you, object to or restrict how we use it, get a portable copy, or withdraw consent at any time. If you are unhappy with how we handle your data, you can contact the Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
